Family law attorney Arlene Kock has owned and operated her own law firm, the Law Offices of Arlene D. Kock, since 1983.
In 1978, Arlene Kock was admitted to the State Bar of California.Arlene Kock has over 31 years of family law and civil litigation experience. A graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, Kock determined during the early development of her career that she wanted to practice family law. Soon after, Kock joined the Law Offices of Alfred A. Affinito, where she was an associate in this general law practice. In the early 1980's, Arlene Kock was elevated to District Managing Attorney for the main office and five branches of the Law Offices of Yanello & Flippen, a well respected general law practice based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Serving as CEO of her own law office, Arlene Kock's practice primarily focuses on all aspects of family law, Her office also handles civil litigation, criminal law, probate law, and juvenile law matters. As an attorney, Arlene Kock has extensive litigation experience in divorce actions, custody cases, and provides legal and litigation services in post-judgment motions. Arlene Kock has regularly employed her legal expertise in lawsuits involving domestic partnerships and other new and developing areas of Family Law
In addition to her law practice responsibilities, Arlene Kock has held many positions with of the Alameda County Bar Association. Her prior service on the Board of Directors for the Alameda County Bar Association was one of her many positions with this local Bar Association.. Arlene Kock chaired the Lawyer Referral Service Committee of the Alameda County Bar Association and continues to be an active member of the Contra Costa and Alameda County Bar Associations.
